About The Position
In the Intensive Care Unit ICU at Saint Mary’s Hospital, the PCA serves as a Nursing Assistant on the unit.
Requirements
- High School or equivalency certificate is required.
- Current BLS or CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of Nursing Assistant, Clerical Coordinator, or Unit Secretary experience in an Acute Inpatient setting is preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant: Certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Regularly assist with patient care, including vital sign monitoring and recording measurements in patients’ charts
- Provide Ambulatory Support to patients, assisting with walking, showers, and other prescribed therapies.
Benefits
- Part-Time: 24 hours per week, Night Shift.
- Positions are 12-hour shifts, 7 pm to 7:30 am
- Rotating weekends and holidays are required for all shifts.
