About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates who have not graduated can be considered.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to relate to diverse clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and dependability.
• Basic understanding of client safety, hygiene, and nutrition requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and 24-hour rotations.
• Enrolled in or eligible for EIT programs is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in personal care or home health aide services.
• Familiarity with special needs care, dementia, or chronic conditions.
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple clients or tasks.
• Ability to follow care plans accurately and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to ensure proper nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders and health observation, reporting changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate daily activities, transportation, and appointments, promoting independence and social engagement.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, following infection control and safety procedures.
• Offer emotional support and companionship, fostering trust and client well-being.
• Document care provided accurately using electronic or paper records as required.
• Deliver 24-hour care coverage when needed, participating in overnight and extended shifts.
