About The Position

The Patient Care Aide works under the direction of the RN/LPN. This role involves providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The individual must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, organize tasks, set priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period
• Proof of Nursing Assistant (CNA) class completion required from a state approved program
• EMT Certification accepted
• Ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
• Ability to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Nice To Haves

• High School/GED preferred
• Active certification preferred (including Certified Medical Assistant)
