About The Position

Reports directly to the Coordinator/Director of Activity Services or DON. Assists with the implementation of a comprehensive planned program of activities designed to meet the special needs of the geriatric, disabled and convalescent residents in the skilled nursing, extended-care facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driving License

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, organizing and implementing the activity program for residents individually and for groups of residents with similar interests, with specific emphasis on an activity program designed to meet the needs of room-bound residents.
• Willing to function in position as scheduled whether scheduled for split shifts, night shifts and/or weekend shifts.
