About The Position

As a Patient Assistance Representative, you will revolutionize the support systems for our clients under the Ryan White Grant programs. This role is critical in ensuring that our clients receive timely access to necessary medications and financial assistance for healthcare services. Support a range of innovative programs including ADAP, LPAP, EFA, and Health Insurance Assistance. Ensure seamless integration and documentation for financial assistance and coverage programs. Leverage technology for efficient client communication and program management. Drive community health impact by reducing barriers to medication access. Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience or 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, HIV treatment, and related medications is desired.
  • Familiarity with insurance processes and COBRA preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage expertise in Ryan White Grant programs to support patient needs for medication and insurance assistance.
  • Engage directly with clients to gather necessary documentation for seamless program enrollment.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge to process applications and ensure timely payment execution.
  • Maintain an up-to-date, accurate list of program enrollees to enhance program efficacy.
  • Communicate routinely with clients, ensuring engagement and eligibility maintenance.
  • Monitor incoming requests for timely and effective resolution.
  • Document patient interactions accurately in digital records, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform regular audits and reviews to uphold reporting accuracy and compliance with grant standards.
  • Collaborate with peers and service providers to optimize client support and care delivery.
  • Participate in special projects and additional duties as needed to drive organizational success.
