About The Position

As a key member of our finance department, the Patient Accounts Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and managing a team of billing specialists.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in billing or a related field
Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills are essentia
Previous experience in billing, finance or a supervisory role
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
2+ years of supervisory experience
Certified Billing and Coding Specialist or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and support as needed
Monitor team productivity of a remote work force.
Oversee all billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Review and approve billing reports and invoices before they are sent to clients
Develop and implement procedures to improve billing processes and ensure compliance with regulations
Resolve billing and payment issues in a timely and effective manner
Maintain accurate records of billing activities and transactions
Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction
The employee supports the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.
Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum).
Performs other related duties as assigned.
