About The Position

Coulee Medical Center is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join their dedicated and tight-knit billing team. This position focuses primarily on commercial insurance claims and supports both their Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic. The role involves submitting and following up on commercial insurance claims, resolving claim denials, errors, and payment issues, and communicating with insurance carriers. The representative will also support patients and families with kindness and clarity, working collaboratively with their team.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• Medical billing or patient accounts experience
• Commercial insurance billing experience
• CAH and/or RHC billing experience
• Experience with Cerner and SSI

Responsibilities
