About The Position

The Patient Account Analyst II at ProMedica is responsible for addressing patient inquiries regarding hospital or physician bills. This role involves contacting patients concerning registration, billing, and collection matters, as well as posting payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts. A key aspect of this position is to resolve patient questions and enhance the overall patient experience at ProMedica.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in medical registration, billing, customer service or collection
  • Must be in a 60 mile radius of Toledo, OH or round trip of 120 miles

Responsibilities

  • Answer patient questions about a hospital or physician bill
  • Contact patients about registration, billing and collection
  • Post payments, adjustments and denials to patient accounts
  • Resolve any questions related to patient accounts
