About The Position

MUSC Health is hiring a part-time Patient Access Specialist for the Great Falls Primary Care team. The role supports a welcoming patient experience and the clinic’s daily operations by scheduling appointments, coordinating patient care, assisting with registration and billing, and supporting office workflows. The specialist helps ensure patients receive efficient, compassionate, and high-quality service.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and manage check-in and check-out.
• Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals and ancillary services.
• Manage patient messages and follow up on missed appointments.
• Verify patient information and collect co-pays and deposits.
• Assist with billing, charge posting, and cash management.
• Prepare patient charts, review medical records, and update medication lists.
• Retrieve diagnostic reports.
• Assist with patient preparation and office procedures as appropriate.
