About The Position

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. Switchboard is the center hub of our organization. This unique team handles a variety of calls for patients and employees. They transfer callers to various departments or clinics throughout our health system and play a crucial role in facilitating their experiences. Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6pm What You Can Expect: Deliver customer service by handling registration, scheduling, referrals, and inquiries for patients, providers, and the public. Ensure clear, professional communication, addressing both verbal and written interactions. Explain financial options, insurance coverage, and organization policies to support payment processes. Utilize technology and tools to efficiently manage departmental workflows. Support Treasure Valley Switchboard, Language Services, and Children's Services.
