About The Position

Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, CD and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently searching for an Outpatient Patient Access and Admissions Coordinator. The Patient Access and Admissions Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support for the IOP, including performing clerical duties, attending departmental and clinical meetings, coordinating medical staff activities, maintaining medical staff files and records, and providing support relating to personnel matters as required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position, Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• HS required
• Knowledge in IOP procedures
• Knowledge in JCAHO, policies and procedures
• Knowledge in scheduling patients
• Knowledge in prioritizing workloads
• Computer and software programs
• Fax machine
• Copy machine
• Telephone and paging system
• SharePoint
• Microsoft Office
• Software systems for managing patient records, billing and compliance
• Physical management training
• CPR

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree preferred
• 1-3 years experience
• 3-5 years experience preferred
