About The Position

This role is within the Imaging department at St. Teresa. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, with evening hours from Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The clinic is located at Via Christi Hospital St. Teresa - Suite 150, 14700 W Saint Teresa St, Wichita, KS 67235. Associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through an academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Medical Office Experience
Bilingual a plus
CNA, PCT, or Patient Transporting Experience a plus
BLS or willing to obtain

Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record.
Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient.
Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.
May assist patients with transport, movement or placement for imaging services.
