About The Position

Adventist Health Reedley, located inland between the coastal mountain ranges and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, has been serving the Central Valley since 2011. It comprises a 49-bed acute care hospital and 60 clinics across 27 rural communities, offering primary and specialty care. This role facilitates the coordination of scheduled outpatient services and programs. The Patient Access Representative is responsible for completing and verifying all registration information, collecting patient financial responsibility, and providing clerical support. They will enter status changes in the computer, work on routine assignments within defined parameters and established guidelines, and follow established procedures while receiving daily instructions.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the patient admission and discharge process including collection of patient information and financial data.
• Performs clerical tasks such as answering phone calls and questions.
• Maintains files and patient information up to date.
• Schedules and coordinates appointments with patients.
• Confirms patient appointments and gives appropriate instructions.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
