About The Position
Saint Luke’s in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our team. You will conduct professional patient interviews, obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information. This position is responsible for the delivery of quality performance and service excellence. This is a remote position. Shift Details: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities
- Understand insurance terminology
- Obtain information to appropriately bill payors
- Verify patient insurance eligibility
- Confirm benefits eligibility
- Gather statistical information in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Complete payment transactions by using proper negotiating techniques to professional collect money owed by our Patients and Guarantors
- Make referrals to appropriate financial resources, such as payment plans and lines of credit
