About The Position

This role involves scheduling patient appointments and procedures, gathering and entering patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information, coordinating insurance verification and pre-authorization, and educating patients on pre-service requirements and financial responsibilities. The goal is to ensure optimal patient flow, accurate record-keeping, financial clearance, and a clear patient experience.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Medical Office Proficiency: Prior experience in a clinical or medical office environment is highly preferred, with demonstrated ability to manage patient intake, insurance verification, and scheduling workflows effectively.
Operational Excellence: Proven ability to provide high-quality customer service while simultaneously multitasking, prioritizing competing demands, and navigating multiple software systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record.
Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient.
Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.
