Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of clerical experience
- Strong computer proficiency
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Prior healthcare experience involving patient interaction and insurance processes
- Bilingual skills (Spanish) for enhanced patient communication
Responsibilities
- Register patients for procedures and appointments with accuracy and compassion.
- Collect and verify demographic and insurance details, including pre-certifications and authorizations.
- Coordinate scheduling to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Serve as a calm, reassuring presence for patients navigating their hospital visit.
