The Patient Access Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Duties include, but are not limited to, patient registration and scheduling, obtaining and verifying demographic and insurance information, collecting required signatures, answering and directing incoming telephone calls, managing appointment requests, and maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic health record system. This position plays a key role in supporting clinic operations and ensuring a positive patient experience. The Patient Access Representative must be able to recognize situations that may require immediate clinical attention and communicate concerns promptly to the appropriate nursing or provider staff.
