About The Position

Registration Representatives are accountable for directing patients and visitors; collecting monies due for co-pays. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Representatives must have the ability to properly collect, enter and/or accurately update financial and demographic information into a computer; maintain patient confidentiality; provide clear and concise information to those who request it; be able to handle multiple tasks at one time; and be detail oriented. The position tends to be fast-paced at times. Representatives are responsible for greeting patients and assuring all guests entering the lobby areas have purpose to be in the facility. Individuals must be physically capable to transport patients and their luggage.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to properly collect, enter and/or accurately update financial and demographic information into a computer
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to provide clear and concise information to those who request it
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Detail oriented
  • Physically capable to transport patients and their luggage
  • High School or GED
  • Less than 1 year of experience
