About The Position

This is a Per Diem position. This is position will be located in the Emergency Department working closely with clinical teams and includes Unit Secretary duties. Arrange for the efficient and orderly registration of patients. To coordinate and maintain the flow of patient’s, patient information and communications. University of Vermont Health - Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison County and the town of Brandon.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Medical Terminology
• Data entry
• Multi-key phone
• Verbal / written communication skills
• Organized
• Independent
• 2 years working with people
• Able to work in a stressful/fast paced environment
