About The Position

This role is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviewing patients for all pertinent account information, verifying all insurance, and calculating and collecting patient liability amounts. The position ensures that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatment, answers questions, and explains policies clearly. Additionally, the role involves checking for physician orders and attaching them to the appropriate patient record to ensure correct tests are received, and printing and collating necessary paperwork for patient distribution.

Requirements

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent
  • Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Check for physician orders and attaches them to patient medical record to ensure that patients are receiving appropriate tests
  • Choose correct health plan and accurately and research to ensure accuracy when verifying insurance
  • Enter all authorization information accurately as needed
  • Follows guidelines and instructions from senior staff
  • All associates receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
  • Acknowledge that you have accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
