This position is within an internal, temporary staffing pool with assignments typically lasting 30, 60, or 90 days. The role offers various shift options including day, evening, and night, with full-time, part-time, and per diem availability. Assignments are located in Washington Twp, Stratford, and Cherry Hill. The Patient Access Representative is responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience by demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills during patient registration. This includes accurately searching for and selecting the correct patient, gathering complete and accurate demographic and insurance information, and identifying uninsured patients for referral to Medical Assistance/Charity Care evaluation. The role also involves retrieving orders, confirming medical necessity, answering phones for outpatient visits, and gathering specific insurance information for accident patients. Additionally, the representative collects patient out-of-pocket liability/copays, verifies insurance, and confirms the presence of required referrals and authorizations.
