The Patient Access Representative/Scheduler is the first point of contact for all patients, responsible for providing a superior customer service experience in alignment with the Center's mission and vision. This role requires in-depth knowledge of patient check-in/out procedures, payment collection, and medical record management. The position involves greeting patients, answering calls, identifying patient needs, confirming identity and eligibility, obtaining signatures, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions. Additionally, the role performs various office and clerical duties, ensuring patient privacy, safety, and confidentiality are maintained. The Patient Access Representative with Medical Assistant duties also escorts patients to exam rooms, records vital signs and medication lists, monitors patient flow, assists physicians with minor clinical procedures, administers immunizations, prepares patient charts, and schedules diagnostic tests. Compliance with infection control policies and maintaining a safe environment are crucial. Other duties as assigned.
