Baptist Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Patient Access Representative II for our Southbank Plaza location in Jacksonville, FL. This position operates within a call center environment and involves taking full ownership of tasks to ensure successful outcomes, enhance Baptist Health's reputation, and create a positive first impression for patients. The Patient Access Representative II is responsible for accurate and efficient patient registration, utilizing multiple systems and interfaces, and cross-training to work in various patient access areas. The role requires maintaining service excellence in both face-to-face and telephonic interactions, contributing to annual Patient Access Services (PAS) goals (e.g., collections, Palm Scanning), and possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations such as EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO. Additionally, the position involves maintaining professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical team members, articulating compliance documentation, ensuring completion of required patient consent forms, and upholding patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
  • High School Diploma Required

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years Healthcare experience Preferred
  • 1-2 years Insurance experience preferred

Responsibilities
