About The Position

Responsible for duties in support of departmental efficiencies which may include: greeting customers following company standards of care, providing world-class customer service, answers inbound and outbound calls, performs PBX operations, executes reception/basic demographic quick registration data entry, and thoroughly explaining and secure Hospital and patient legal forms (i.e., Advance Directives, Conditions of Services, Consent for Treatment, Important Message from Medicare, EMTALA, etc.).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in patient access or healthcare registration
  • Experience with PBX systems
  • Bilingual abilities
