About The Position

This role is responsible for researching, collecting, and analyzing information. The representative will identify opportunities, develop solutions, and lead through resolution. Collaboration on performance improvement activities is expected, as indicated by outcomes in program efficiency and patient experience. The role involves the distribution of analytical reports and utilizes multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports, and develop educational materials. A basic knowledge of Trinity Health policies, practices, and processes is required to ensure quality, confidentiality, and safety are prioritized. The representative must demonstrate knowledge of departmental processes and procedures and the ability to readily acquire new knowledge. This includes researching and compiling information to support ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives, synthesizing and analyzing data, and providing detailed summaries with graphical data presentations illustrating trends and recommending practical options or solutions. The role also requires maintaining a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, the Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, and other policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior and safe work practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical terminology required & knowledge of diagnostic & procedural coding
  • Insurance verification with the ability to explain benefits, secure necessary authorizations

  • Leverages program & operational data & measurements to define & demonstrate progress, ROI & impacts.
  • Maintains a Working Knowledge of applicable federal, state & local laws / regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies, procedures & guidelines in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior & safe work practices.
