About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Checkout Member to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient discharge process, providing excellent service and support to patients as they conclude their visit or treatment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and billing software.

Nice To Haves

  • additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus.
  • Prior experience in healthcare administration or patient services is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with the checkout process, including billing, scheduling follow-up appointments, and providing necessary documentation.
  • Verify patient information and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate with medical staff and insurance providers to facilitate smooth billing and payment procedures.
  • Address patient inquiries related to billing, appointments, and post-visit instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient transactions and interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy policies during all checkout procedures.
