The Patient Access Rep greets all visitors to the facility, scans patient IDs and insurance cards, and ensures all new patient paperwork is completed, signed, and dated. This role is responsible for collecting appropriate co-pays and/or deposits, collecting past due balances, balancing daily entries and running reports, answering telephones, triaging calls, and scheduling appointments.
