The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the admission functions of all patients. These responsibilities include obtaining and verifying patient information, verifying insurance eligibility, and obtaining signatures on general consent. The Patient Access Representative has excellent verbal and written communication skills to correspond with all patients and staff in person and over the phone. Specific to the Clinic Setting Schedules appointments and handles all referrals. Monitor providers' schedules. Addresses any pre-appointment communications.
