About The Position

The Patient Access Specialist-Registration role primarily involves processing patient registrations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all pertinent data is collected at the point of entry. This position requires constant engagement with patients and their representatives, handling sensitive information with discretion and adhering to privacy protocols. Challenges include navigating high-stress situations and managing complex data under tight deadlines. The specialist collaborates closely with billing, coding, and other registration staff to enhance registration accuracy and address discrepancies. A typical day involves multitasking between direct patient interactions, document management, and intra-departmental communication, all aimed at maximizing both operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. In Hospital Admitting at CRMC, the team is the first point of contact for patients, ensuring every patient encounter is smooth, accurate, and stress-free. This role sets the tone for the patient’s entire healthcare journey, helping them feel supported, informed, and cared for from the very start. Requirements

  • Successful completion of data entry and clerical assessments administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Staff
  • Ability to work independently
