About The Position

The Patient Access Registrar at Samaritan Medical Center performs outpatient and inpatient registration, payer eligibility, and financial screening functions. This role involves guiding hospital users, patients, and families through the access management process while providing excellent patient-focused customer service. The registrar communicates effectively with service delivery areas to optimize patient flow and customer service. This position is considered the fully functional level role within the Patient Access Services encounter-based career ladder.
