About The Position

Raventra Health is a medical services company providing outsourced billing, coding, and claims processing solutions for provider groups and hospitals. As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will support the front end of the revenue cycle by handling patient registration, insurance verification, benefits information, and related administrative tasks. The accuracy of your work helps ensure patients receive clear information and that claims can be processed correctly downstream.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in patient access, patient registration, medical front office, or a related healthcare role
• Experience verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
• Experience working with an EMR, patient registration, or practice management system
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
• Ability to explain insurance and financial information clearly and without unnecessary jargon
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment
• HIPAA-compliant private workspace

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or another major EMR/practice management system
• Bilingual Spanish skills
• Experience with financial counseling or patient financial services
• Medical scheduling experience
• Experience working with provider groups or hospitals

Responsibilities

• Complete patient registration accurately in the client’s EMR or registration system
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before scheduled services
• Explain coverage, benefits, and patient responsibility clearly and professionally
• Collect and post patient payments where applicable
• Review patient and insurance information for accuracy and completeness
• Resolve registration and eligibility discrepancies before they create billing or claims issues
• Communicate with patients, provider teams, and insurance representatives as needed
• Meet productivity and quality expectations while maintaining a high level of data accuracy
