The Patient Access Coordinator is a remote position that handles all incoming telephone calls efficiently and in a timely manner. This individual is responsible for triaging calls throughout the organization. The role requires answering inbound calls in a fast-paced environment, acting as the first point of contact for patients needing assistance, creating patient records, triaging calls, and scheduling appointments based on patient needs. The coordinator must demonstrate professionalism and patience, maintain department productivity levels, and meet or exceed monthly scorecard expectations. They will also escalate calls as necessary, answer questions regarding appointments, and perform other assigned duties. Adherence to established policies, procedures, and scripting is essential to meet call-time and quality standards, while exemplifying the organization's desired culture and philosophies.
