About The Position

As a Patient Registration Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through the registration process with confidence, clarity, and compassion. This role is ideal for individuals new to healthcare, as comprehensive training is provided, offering a strong foundation for a growing healthcare career. The position involves working across multiple computer systems, answering phones, gathering information accurately, assisting patients who may be ill or anxious, navigating insurance plans, and adapting to urgent care situations. It is a dynamic role that requires being on your feet and thinking quickly to make a real impact.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements

Responsibilities

  • Help patients navigate the registration process
  • Answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion
  • Gather accurate information quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Build trust with patients during moments when they may be scared, confused, or overwhelmed
  • Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
  • Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately
  • Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused
  • Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training!)
  • Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations
  • Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing phone calls and computer-based check-ins with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide calm, compassionate support to individuals who may be anxious or unwell.
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple systems and tasks with confidence
