In this role, you will help create a seamless healthcare experience by coordinating patient access functions, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and performing diagnostic imaging procedures that support timely and accurate diagnoses.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible; must successfully obtain registry certification within six months of graduation and maintain active registration thereafter.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire; certification must be maintained as a condition of employment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or private practice clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
  • Ability to operate computer systems for patient registration, scheduling, documentation, and image management.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to address patient access and care coordination issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance both radiologic and clinical support responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient positioning and transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service while serving as a primary point of contact for patients.
  • Perform scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and financial intake activities.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow and optimize provider schedules.
  • Assist patients with questions, appointment coordination, and navigation of healthcare services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve patient care concerns related to scheduling, communication, and social determinants impacting access to care.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications necessary for imaging procedures.
  • Educate patients about imaging exams and address questions or concerns to promote a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain patient safety, radiation protection standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient care.
