Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Dean of Social Mission & Partnership & Director of Programs & Outcomes, the Pathway Programs Student Worker plays a crucial role in supporting the CUSM Medical Exploration Days (MED), Health Career Connection (HCC), Pathways to Medicine (P2M), the MCAT Office Hour, CJUSD Parent Engagement Programs, LAUNCH with Mentor Collective, Foster youth Independent Learning Programs and other pathways partnership programming offering K-12 students, undergraduates, and educators an engaging introduction to the field of medicine. This position involves leading presentations, conducting campus tours, coordinating on site engagement with pathways partners, guiding students through hands-on activities, fostering interactive learning experiences, tabling for local high schools and other pathways events, engaging in outreach to support enrollment in pathways programs, and contributing to the overall success of pathways programs and events. The Student Worker must have availability and flexibility to work a shift of two (2) to six (6) hours, up to a maximum of ten (10) hours a week, as determined by unit needs.
