About The Position

Within a clinical laboratory setting, the Pathology Technician collects, prepares, and processes specimens; assists with laboratory activities and other assigned tasks; and helps prepare laboratory specimens and supplies. The role may include entering laboratory orders and results, performing waived tests, and conducting phlebotomy. The technician ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or another related field that includes 30 combined semester hours of biological science and chemistry.

• One year of previous laboratory experience.
