Requirements
- 3 years of experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Flu Vaccine Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- ASCP - PA certification required
- Hospital clinical laboratory experience
- Macroscopic description of gross anatomic features
- Travel experience required

Responsibilities
- Performing gross examinations

- Ensuring specimen accuracy
- Assisting with lab operations to support timely and accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Performs gross examination and dissection of large/complex specimens
- Performs gross examination and dissection of small biopsies
- Prepares tissues and histological processing
- Sectioning surgical pathology and specimens
- Specimen fixation
- Specimen receipt and labeling
- Evisceration
- Prepare tissue samples
- Tissue sampling of microscopic examination
- Obtain/review patient clinical information (ex: scans, x-rays, lab results)
- Tumor triage
- Adult and fetal autopsies
