In this role, you will engage with cutting-edge technologies, including immunohistochemistry (IHC), multiplex assays, messenger RNA in situ hybridization (mRNA ISH), and digital pathology.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. with US Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology.
- Active state medical license.
- Residency-trained in anatomic pathology with expertise in surgical pathology.
- Proven ability to assess histopathology, IHC, ISH, and multiplex assays.
- Experience in evaluating complex immunohistochemistry assays (e.g., PD-L1, HER2, Ki-67).
- Passion for companion diagnostics (CDx) and Oncology, and the "right drug, right patient, right time" philosophy.
- Comfort reading digital whole slide images and IHC stained slides, and utilizing automated algorithms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, working with scientists, engineers, and regulatory experts.

- At least 1 year of experience in clinical practice or the biotechnology/pharma industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide pathology and slide reading support for assay development, FDA submissions, clinical trials, and pharmaceutical clients, collaborating with internal and external development teams.
- Support research and development activities, including the development of primary antibodies, detection systems, probes, and special stains.
- Advise on future pathology and medical needs based on expertise.
- Act as the medical representative on project core teams and contribute to pathology-related aspects of development projects.
- Drive continuous improvement in work processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
