About The Position

Medical Diagnostic Laboratories is seeking a Part Time or Per Diem Pathologist to join their team. The purpose of this role is to perform all necessary medical duties for the accurate and timely diagnosis of patient specimens, as well as contribute to the successful operation of Medical Diagnostic Laboratories.

Requirements

Basic computer literacy for running instrumentation and/or LIS functions.
High level of attention to detail.
Must be highly reliable.
High level of commitment to accuracy.

Nice To Haves

In some cases, pathologists may be provided with training similar to that of histotechnologists or medical technologists, allowing them to perform such testing.

Responsibilities

Accurate and timely diagnosis of patient specimens.
Creation of high quality, accurate, and pleasing laboratory reports.
Provides consultation to clients, patients, and employees.
Supports all staff in the performance of their duties.
Works with clients to ensure all needs are met with satisfaction.
Provides on-site support for various clients, as assigned.
Helps ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements of the laboratory are successfully followed.
Other laboratory duties as assigned by the medical director.
