About The Position

Our client is seeking a Patent Attorney with 6-9 years of experience to join their Denver office. The firm emphasizes camaraderie, collaboration, and challenging work. Qualified candidates will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science and be admitted to the USPTO or eligible to take the Patent Bar. Essential skills include excellent academic performance, strong writing and analytical abilities, effective verbal communication, good interpersonal skills, and the capacity to thrive in a team environment. A Juris Doctor (JD) is required, and admission to the Colorado bar is preferred. Applicants are requested to submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, and law school transcript.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience as a Patent Attorney
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Admitted to the USPTO or eligible to take the Patent Bar
• Excellent academic performance
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Prior non-legal work experience with software, 5G, electronics, baseband signaling, or mechanical systems
