About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a dynamic full-time employment opportunity for a Junior, Mid-level, or Senior Patent Agent to be resident in the Boston office or work remotely supporting our Boston office. The candidate will provide patent prosecution services in software and electronics IP across an array of industries. Familiarity with software and electronics is required, and experience with health and medicine is a plus.

Requirements

At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
Familiarity with software and electronics is required.
Familiarity with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution.
Prior firm experience is required.
Registration with the USPTO is required.
At least one year of experience.
Excellent academic record.
Superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.
A creative and strategic approach to prosecution.
Must be registered for practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office or eligible for such registration.

Nice To Haves

Experience with health and medicine is a plus.
Industry work experience is a plus.
Experience with patent litigation is a plus.
