This position is with a large General Practice (GP) Firm that offers Cravath-level compensation. The firm is very active in Inter Partes Review (IPR) filings and represents petitioners at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). It is recognized as a National "Tier 1" Law Firm in Patent Law by U.S. News – Best Law Firms.

Requirements

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Comfortable working directly with clients.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and/or computer science.
• Degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant experience.
• Strong experience drafting complex software patent applications.
• Focused experience in drafting patent applications in the computer arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, FinTech, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.).
• Focused experience in prosecuting patent applications.

Responsibilities

• Representing petitioners at the PTAB in IPR filings.
• Drafting patent applications in the computer arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, FinTech, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.).
• Prosecuting patent applications.
