About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, currently has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Patent Agent/Patent Associate in our Intellectual Property Practice Group in our Austin, TX office. Requirements

3 or more years of focused experience in the following areas: Drafting patent applications in the computer arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, FinTech, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.)
Prosecuting patent applications
Candidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
Candidates with a degree or an advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering and/or computer science are preferred, although candidates with degrees in mechanical engineering or other relevant experience will also be considered.
Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, be comfortable working directly with clients, and possess strong writing and analytical skills.
