About The Position

The Patch & Finish Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating a crew focused on repairing, detailing, and finishing precast products to meet company quality standards. This role ensures all patching, finishing, and corrective work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with specifications prior to delivery to the jobsite. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of concrete experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ability to read and interpret pour sheets and installation instructions
  • Basic English communication skills for team coordination
  • Ability to operate or learn forklift and overhead crane operation
  • General math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Strong awareness of safety practices in a production environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate patch and finish crew daily work assignments
  • Perform patching, finishing, and repair work on precast products as needed
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
  • Move on and around forms, product, trailers, and elevated work platforms safely
  • Handle and transport materials required for finishing and repair tasks
  • Operate hand and power tools including grinders, drills, and cut-off saws
  • Use or learn gas/acetylene torch work for finishing applications
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed)
  • Perform concrete-related work including pouring, leveling, and finishing
  • Apply knowledge of rigging and safe product handling techniques
  • Train, coach, and support crew members in proper procedures and safety practices
  • Support specialized finishing processes including sandblasting, polishing, and acid washing
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned
