About The Position

The Patch/Finish Roller Operator is responsible for operating a roller to compact asphalt and ensure a smooth, finished surface. This position works closely with the paving crew to maintain quality, safety, and productivity on the job site. This role may involve overtime, traveling, long hours, and weekend work.

Requirements

• 1+ Year of experience operating a roller
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends when required.
• Traveling with in and out of state
• Strong attention to safety and teamwork.
• Must be able to climb on and off equipment and perform physical job duties.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate a roller to compact asphalt surfaces.
• Follow the paving crew to achieve proper compaction and smoothness.
• Monitor the quality of the finished pavement.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Follow all company and job site safety procedures.
• Assist with other crew duties as needed.
