About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Clinical Dietitian in El Paso, TX! This position is located at Morrison Healthcare at THOP Memorial in an acute care setting. The schedule is estimated at 20 hours per week, but it is based on consults/admissions and can fluctuate week to week. The role involves assessing inpatient pediatric diabetes admissions and implementing a plan of care. The hourly pay is $70-$80/hr, with additional compensation in the form of CEUs. Requirements

  • RD Credential
  • Diabetes Specialist Certification (CDCES)
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Specialty certification when required
  • Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
