About The Position
Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking a motivated PAT RN to join their team. This is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. The role involves a Monday to Friday work schedule, with open availability for two Saturdays a month, requiring the nurse to work at least one Saturday per month. There is no on-call requirement, and most holidays are off.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Implementing all physician orders under the direct supervision of the RN manager.
- Providing continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients.
- Continually evaluating patients' condition.
- Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
- Assisting physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate.
- Providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient and family care in preparation for discharge.
