PAT Parent Educator / Peer Recovery Coach
About The Position
18 Degrees is seeking a full-time Home Visitor/Peer Recovery Peer Specialist for Parents as Teachers at our Pittsfield location. This is a home visiting role with a peer recovery component, for which training will be provided and is required. The ideal candidate will leverage their own lived experience to connect with and support individuals affected by substance abuse, directly or indirectly. Individuals with personal recovery experience are strongly encouraged to apply. The role involves delivering evidence-based programming to families across Berkshire County. While experience in the human services field is desired, lived experience may be considered as a substitute. Key skills include knowledge of child development and parenting, the ability to engage diverse families, data tracking, and collaboration with community resources.
