The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year pastry experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen
  • Maricopa County Food Handler Card

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an Apprenticeship or accredited Culinary School, preferred
  • Hotel / resort experience, preferred
  • Upscale / luxury dining experience, preferred
  • ServeSafe Food Handler Certification, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare items listed on production sheet.
  • Date and label all items going into freezer and walk-in, clean as you go.
  • Store all items in approved containers that are wrapped, dated and labeled.
  • Follow food handler’s guidelines.
  • Rotate oldest stock out first, check with chef if freshness is questionable.
  • Clean all small equipment such as mixers, buffalo choppers, etc., yourself immediately after using them.
  • Practice and abide by all Resort rules and regulations, safety and sanitation policies at all times.
  • Maintain a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance.
  • Wear proper uniform and footwear at all times.
  • Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others.
  • Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
