About The Position

Qualities Required: Valid Food Handlers Certificate Food Safety Knowledge General knife handling Kitchen Cleaning/Sanitation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Have a desire to create desserts that reflect the Crenn mission statement Responsibilities: Arrive on time for the scheduled shift and wear clean and appropriate work attire. Prepare and organize mise en place in support of the pastry team and daily production needs. Assist pastry Sous Chef and team with prep tasks, basic production, and ingredient readiness. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep station at all times. Properly care for equipment, tools, and shared workspaces. Support inventory organization, labeling, and storage of pastry items. Explore and listen to ideas that will reduce waste and increase sustainability. Ensure proper sanitation and personal hygiene are maintained. Ensure that the kitchen is always prepared for routine health inspections and follows all guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen, dish, and garbage areas. Expected Behaviors: Reflect the Atelier Crenn mission statement.
